Growing Wild Learning Full Year Nature Co-op Curriculum

Build a full year of outdoor learning, friendship, and adventure with 24 complete nature-based lessons designed for families, homeschoolers, and nature co-ops. Created from years of real co-op experience, Trailblazers provides everything needed to guide a group through hands-on exploration, seasonal discovery, and meaningful time outdoors.

This complete program includes 24 ready-to-use lessons (12 fall and 12 spring), 24 gathering games to build community, a sample co-op schedule, pacing guide, and practical tips for running mixed-age outdoor learning groups. Lessons are designed for easy implementation and can be handed directly to parent volunteers or facilitators.

Throughout the year, learners explore topics such as mushrooms, fossils, pollinators, birds, autumn leaves, maple syrup, storms, solar power, vermiculture, geodes, navigation, shelter building, and nature photography. Each lesson blends science, nature exploration, crafts, experiments, and discussion to encourage curiosity, confidence, and connection to the natural world.
