Mississippi Aquarium Homeschool Days

Mississippi Aquarium offers monthly Homeschool Days for families and homeschool groups in Gulfport and surrounding Gulf Coast communities. Students explore marine science through educator-led activity stations, animal encounters, demonstrations, experiments, and independent aquarium exploration. Fall 2026 topics include deep-sea ecosystems, sharks, birds, and keystone species. Kindergarten through fifth-grade students can also add a Homeschool Learning Lab featuring a guided lesson, hands-on STEM activity, biofacts, and a themed craft. Aquarium education programs align with Mississippi College and Career Readiness Standards and Next Generation Science Standards.
