Clay Center Homeschool Days

The Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences offers special Homeschool Days for families in Charleston and surrounding West Virginia communities. Programs combine interactive presentations or films inside the Caperton Planetarium with hands-on STEM laboratory activities. Upcoming topics include light and color, engineering and tinkering, and environmental science. Students participate in experiments, building challenges, science demonstrations, and other guided activities alongside their parents. Families can also explore the Avampato Discovery Museum, Juliet Art Museum, and additional educational exhibits during a visit.
